Privacy policy
Updated October 9, 2026
This policy covers Local Post Studio, a real estate content drafting service operated by Jeff Young. Contact: jeff@localpoststudio.com.
Information we handle
- Sign-in information: the hosting sign-in service supplies an account identifier, email and, when available, name to authenticate you and control access.
- Agent profile: name, brokerage, contact details, selected market, voice, audience, content interests, posting days, time and timezone.
- Content: topics, captions, property details, personal stories, source links, reporting periods, planned dates, saved drafts, listing campaigns, market charts, guide notes, document projects and uploaded photos or generated videos you submit.
- Optional Meta connections: when you authorize through Facebook, we receive authorized Page identifiers, Page names, available tasks, linked professional Instagram identifiers and usernames, and access credentials. Credentials are stored encrypted; the account list is stored for display to the signed-in agent. The operator’s Meta App Secret is entered through an owner-only setup form and stored encrypted using a separate hosting secret.
- Access and support: account status, suspension reasons and access history, plus information you provide in support or deletion emails.
- Technical information: hosting and infrastructure providers may process IP addresses, requests, authentication/session information and operational logs to deliver and protect the service.
How we use information
We use it to authenticate users, keep each agent’s profile and library separate, personalize drafts, store and retrieve uploads, save posting preferences, provide support, enforce access rules and maintain the service. Posting preferences currently do not cause automatic publication. Public local research is cached by market and does not use visitor-owned records.
Sharing and providers
Local Post Studio uses OpenAI’s Sites hosting and authentication infrastructure and Cloudflare database and file storage. These providers process information needed to operate the service under their own applicable terms and policies. Support email is handled through Namecheap Private Email. The operator may access records as necessary for support, security, account administration and deletion requests. The interface does not provide a customer-content moderation dashboard; access decisions can also be based on reports.
Local Post Studio does not sell your personal information or use an advertising tracker added by the app. This policy does not replace the policies of the hosting, authentication, email or social services you use.
Social platforms and exported content
Facebook and Instagram connections are optional. Creating a Meta developer app separately does not connect your social account to Local Post Studio; you must explicitly authorize it through Facebook. Local Post Studio exchanges authorization information with Meta to retrieve authorized accounts and stores the returned credentials encrypted. It does not ask for your Facebook password. Connecting an account does not publish content. You can remove stored connection credentials in Social connections and revoke authorization separately through Meta’s business integration settings. Content you copy, export or publish yourself is handled by the destinations you choose, under their policies. Local Post Studio cannot delete those copies or social posts for you.
Retention and security
Saved profiles, drafts, uploads and access records remain until removed through an operator-supported request or until no longer needed to provide the service. Authentication and hosting logs may follow the providers’ retention practices. Limited information may be retained when needed for legal obligations, security or resolving disputes; any applicable exception will be explained when responding to your request. We use authenticated access and account ownership checks for stored content and uploads. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and deletion
You can edit your profile and avoid submitting unnecessary personal or client information. Email us to request access, correction or deletion of your Local Post Studio data. See data deletion instructions. We may ask for information needed to verify account ownership, but never your password or API key. Requests are handled manually. Where applicable, you may also exercise privacy rights provided by law.
Personal and client content
Only upload content you have permission to use. Do not submit confidential client records, identification documents, financial credentials or sensitive information about other people. Personal stories and photos are optional.
Brokerage review and reports
When the operator assigns your account to a brokerage workflow, assigned reviewers can see captions and the image you explicitly submit for review, along with the selected Page name and review status. Review feedback and approval records are stored. Required approval is checked before publishing through Local Post Studio; changes need a new review. Reviewers do not receive your social credentials. Seller reports use confirmed publishing records linked to your campaign. Printed or downloaded documents and videos can be shared by you outside Local Post Studio.
Children and changes
Local Post Studio is intended for adult professional users, not children. Contact us if a child’s information was submitted. Material changes to data practices will be communicated through the app or an appropriate notice, and this page’s effective date will be updated.
Publishing and temporary image delivery
When you approve Publish now, Local Post Studio sends the selected captions and image to your selected Facebook Page or professional Instagram account. Instagram receives the approved image through an unlisted temporary public media link that expires after one hour and may be removed sooner after publishing. Other drafts, uploads and account credentials remain private. Publishing results are stored with your account. Posts already published remain on the social platform if you disconnect Local Post Studio.
AI drafting and additional connected channels
When you request AI content, relevant topic details, supplied facts, story descriptions and agent writing preferences are sent to the OpenAI API to generate draft content. Avoid including confidential client information. Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn personal-profile publishing and YouTube video upload have been tested with the operator’s accounts; availability to other users depends on platform permissions and approvals. TikTok, Snapchat and Google Business Profile direct-publishing setup remains in progress.
Optional social authorization can involve account identifiers, profile/channel details, granted permissions and access credentials. These are used to provide the connection and actions you explicitly request. Publishing or upload results are saved for history. Videos may be delivered to the selected platform for an approved upload. Social services, including Google/YouTube and LinkedIn, process that information under their own privacy policies. Account connection alone does not publish content.
