Account and data deletion

You can request deletion of your Local Post Studio account information, drafts and uploaded photos without signing into this website.

Send a deletion request

1. Email jeff@localpoststudio.com with the subject Local Post Studio data deletion request.
2. Include the email used to sign into Local Post Studio and say whether you want all account data deleted or only specific drafts, uploads or profile information. Include your name or account identifier if known.
3. We will verify that you control the account, process the request without undue delay and confirm the outcome by email. Requests are handled manually. If additional verification or a lawful retention exception is necessary, we will explain it.

Do not send passwords, API keys, payment-card details or identity documents. We will not ask for your password or an access token.

What deletion covers

A full request covers the agent profile, posting preferences, saved drafts, uploaded media and account-related records held by Local Post Studio, except limited information we must retain for legal obligations, security or resolving disputes. Deletion does not erase shared public research caches that contain no user-owned content. Infrastructure backups and logs may follow the hosting providers’ retention practices; any retained information remains subject to restricted use.

Facebook and Instagram information

If you connect Facebook or Instagram, Local Post Studio stores the authorized account details and encrypted credentials. A full data deletion request includes these account records and credentials. You can also remove stored credentials directly in Social connections. If you previously authorized Local Post Studio on Meta, removing that authorization through Meta’s app/business integration settings can revoke its access. Removing an authorization alone does not replace a request to delete Local Post Studio’s saved records; email us for that request.

What deletion does not cover

Local Post Studio cannot delete your Facebook, Instagram, ChatGPT or other provider accounts, copies you exported, or content you published on social platforms. Manage those directly with the relevant provider. You do not need to delete a social account to request deletion from Local Post Studio.

Other connected channels

A full deletion request also covers stored account identifiers and credentials for other social connections held by Local Post Studio. You may revoke authorization with the relevant social provider separately. Published posts and uploaded videos on those platforms must be managed there.
